Agate Suspension Necklace

Handcrafted vintage copper chain, with inclusions of gemstones and hand-made copper links. The pendant includes two components: one Prehnite stone wire-wrapped vertically, and a diamond Agate with a hand-crafted embellishment. The necklace measures 34 1/2'' long. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. It is protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

These stones are primarily formed within metamorphic and volcanic rocks. Agate is a variety of chalcedony, formed from compounded layers of quartz. This is what gives agate it's colored bands or vein-like appearance. It is also known as the birthstone for the month of September.
