Handcrafted out of copper wire. Wrapped around a black onyx gemstone. Lightweight. Measures 2" long. Very simple for casual wear. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. The earrings are protected with a thin layer of ProtectaCear.

Onyx is relatively uncommon in nature and is actually a part of the Chalcedony family. The name comes from the Greek onux, meaning "nail" or "claw," which refers to the mineral's color. It is believed that Cleopatra used to wear Black Onyx for its protective features, as the stone is said to be able to absorb negative energy.
