Fluorite Beaded Earrings

These earrings are hand-crafted out of vintage, pure copper wire. To create the body, seed beads are woven into long, charming dangles. Measures 2 1/2" long. French wires. Protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

Fluorite gets its name from the Latin verb fluere, meaning "to flow." Despite commonly being for jewelry, creating beautiful beads was not the first use of fluorite. In fact, the mineral has been used in iron smelting as well as glass-making.
