The long copper necklace is made from a variety of onyx gemstones and hand-made copper links. The clasp can be fastened to many different points, creating a new necklace each time––get creative! Necklace measures 30" L. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. Protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

Onyx is relatively uncommon in nature and is actually a part of the Chalcedony family. The name comes from the Greek onux, meaning "nail" or "claw," which refers to the mineral's color. It is believed that Cleopatra used to wear Black Onyx for its protective features, as the stone is said to be able to absorb negative energy. Sensing that energy, the crystal would vibrate, alerting the queen of any potential danger. Onyx is also the birthstone for those with the zodiac sign of Leo!
