Smoky Mountain Pin

This small pin was created using a large, faceted smoky quartz and small inclusions of Goldstone. The design is free form and flowy, adding the perfect amount of decoration for any great scarf. Measures 2" L. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. Protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

Smoky quartz is the National Gem of Scotland and has been considered a sacred stone there for a long time, a belief dating back to the Druids. The stone belongs to the Quartz family, which includes Rose Quartz and Mountain Quartz as well. This particular stone is also the birthstone for Scorpios.
