About Me
Since I was a child, I was always surrounded by art. My aunt worked in the art department and created beautiful wooden jewelry boxes. The whole summer, I would help her decorate these unique chests. My uncle made theater puppets and I was always fascinated by their movements. My great grandfather was also an artist and painted amazing fresco paintings in Ukrainian cathedrals. I knew I was good with my hands based on my family but I didn't get confident in my work until my middle 40's. It all started with vintage electrical wires that I put to use in the form of rings and bracelets. From there I expanded to sterling silver, gold, and semi-precious gemstones. I truly enjoy what I do and hope others derive pleasure from it too. I showcase my work at many Chicago art shows and festivals.
