Agate Cube Earrings

Created out of oxidized pure copper wires. A singular honey agate stone is elegantly wrapped using a herringbone stitch. Measures 1 3/4'' long. French wires. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish.

These stones are primarily formed within metamorphic and volcanic rocks. Agate is a variety of chalcedony, formed from compounded layers of quartz. This is what gives agate it's colored bands or vein-like appearance. It is also known as the birthstone for the month of September.
