This statement brooch is composed of copper wires, each hand welded to create little sparks. A beautifully faceted Carnelian is the focal point. Measures 3 x 1'' L. Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. Protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

Carnelian is a stone within the Quartz family. Its beautiful rusty orange color comes from impurities of iron oxide within the stone. It is believed that in ancient times, warriors wore Carnelian around their arms and neck to harness abundant physical power in order to conquer the enemies.
