Chalcedony Glow Necklace

Hand-crafted silver chain with inclusions of both labradorite and silver statement links. All components are hand done, including the centerpiece of netted chalcedony and labradorite. Necklace measures 21 1/2", but can be adjusted to any shorter length. Pendant measures 1 3/4". Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish.

Chalcedony was given its name from the ancient Greek town Chalcedon, located in Asia Minor. The stone is found worldwide and is actually a term for a group of stones made from a microcrystalline variety of quartz. This means that the quartz crystals are too small to be seen without a high magnification present. Because chalcedony covers a broad expanse of quartz gemstones, this stone comes in an array of beautiful colors and forms.
