Chalcedony Teardrop Necklace

This necklace features a beautifully crafted silver component with 3 gorgeous Chalcedony stones. The middle part measures 4" long. The necklace measures 22" long, but can be adjusted to any shorter length. The chain is made with tiny Peridot stones.

Chalcedony was given its name from the ancient Greek town Chalcedon, located in Asia Minor. The stone is found worldwide and is actually a term for a group of stones made from a microcrystalline variety of quartz. This means that the quartz crystals are too small to be seen without a high magnification present. Because chalcedony covers a broad expanse of quartz gemstones, this stone comes in an array of beautiful colors and forms.
