Handcrafted vintage copper chain, with inclusions of gemstones and hand-made copper links. The pendant is created with a variety of stitching and weaving, encasing a beautiful prehnite gemstone and white pearl. The necklace measures 20 1/2'' long. The middle component measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2'' . Liver of Sulfur is used to create an antique finish. It is protected with a thin layer of ProtectaClear to prevent tarnishing.

Prehnite, also referred to as a "stone of prophecy", has long been cherished and used by the indigenous peoples of South Africa. The stone was believed to promote communication with other planes of existence. Prehnite forms within the veins and cavities of volcanic rock, most commonly found in South Africa, Australia, and Canada. Although a gemstone with no near relatives, it is commonly mistaken for jade, serpentine, as well as other stones.
